The PKDA Virtual Show 2011

Thank you for visiting the PKDA's 2nd Annual virtual show over the past weekend and showing your support to the PKDA as well as all those that took the time to exhibit their koi by casting your votes.

The JSC results are now in and I'm pleased to be able to reveal the award winners of this years show.

The Grand Champion Award goes to a fantastic size 7 Sanke owned by Mick & Liz Sanderson from Yorkshire pictured below. Mick & Liz will be pleased to know that they'll soon be receiving 20kg of food from Selective Koi Sales, a £100 voucher from Kusuri and 1 x 15" diameter Koi transfer tube with an 18" ali handle as well as 1 x 13" diameter Bespoke Water Tight Transfer tube 10" ali handle from Norfine Nets.

 

The other major awards are as follows:

• Mature Champion - Iain Kirkbright
• Adult Champion - Dave Crellin
• Young Champion - Anthony Grey
• Baby Champion - Mark Chaplin

These koi have also won their owners some food prizes including 10kg of food from Selective Koi Sales and a £30 voucher from Kusuri, with the Adult Champion receiving 1 x 15" diameter Koi Transfer Tube 18" ali handle & 1 x 11" diameter Koi Transfer tube 7" ali handle from Norfine Nets.

 

The best in size award are as follows:

• Size 1 - Lee Cresswell
• Size 2 - Paul Timothy
• Size 3 - Karen
• Size 4 - Glen Jones & Jackie Porter
• Size 5 - Barry Thompson
• Size 6 - Barry Thompson

The best in size winners will also be getting their hands on a 5kg food prize also kindly donated by Selective Koi Sales.

 

That leaves us with just three awards, the Judges Choice, the Peoples Choice and the Dealer Class awards.

The judges choice award was won by Anthony Grey with his Gin Rin Matsakawabake with the dealer award going to The Koi Collection for their stunning Sanke. The people's choice award goes to a Sanke owned by Lee Cresswell
