Grange Marketing Joins The PKDA

Hill House Koi Go Bio-Secure
We are pleased to announce that Hill House Koi of Suffolk are our latest dealer member to have been successfully accredited with full Bio-Security status after being Audited by Aquatic Pathobiologist Dr Paula Reynolds BSc PhD BA on the 29th of March.
41st All Japan Koi show
Steve Field of Avenue Fisheries was a judge at the recent All Japan Show. He was one of 7 judges selected to judge size 12, the largest show size for fish over 90cm long and the size group from which the major prize winners are chosen.
The Show was held in Niigata to commemorate the rebuilding of the Niigata Koi Industry five years after a major earthquake shook the region. The Grand Champion Koi was a Kohaku bred by Dainichi Koi farm. This fish had been runner up in 2009.
PKDA Honorary Life Member
Confirming their close links with Japan, PKDA member Steve Field of Avenue Fisheries presented an honorary PKDA membership to Senichi Mano (Isumiya Koi Farm), Chairman of the Shinkokai which is the Japanese Dealers Association. Also in the photograph is Shenichi Yoshida, Vice Chairman and Health Liaison Officer for the Shinkokai, and PKDA honorary Life Member.
The PKDA has frequent contact with their Japanese counterparts, allowing access to the most up to date information affecting the Koi Industry. This is especially beneficial to its members, as well as British Koi hobbyists with regard to Koi health issues, as information is exchanged on issuing import health certificates, KHV testing and Bio-security.
Fife Kingdom Koi Joins The PKDA
We are pleased to announce that after a site visit and agreeing to work to the PKDA quarantine guidelines Fife Kingdon Koi of Cupar, Fife, Scotland have become the latest wet trades dealer to join the PKDA.
Fife Kingdom Koi are the sole Scotland agent for Ogata Koi Farm. Grant and Karen Taylor, the proprietors, have been keeping koi for 15 years, and have opened their Scottish agency to share their enthusiasm and knowledge with customers.
Fife Kingdom Koi can supply specialist food and sundries. Grant and Karen are happy to offer unbiased advice to newcomers to koi-keeping, and to support existing koi enthusiasts. Fife Kingdom Koi premises are located behind Torridon in Muirhead which is situated off the A914 in Fife between Glenrothes and Cupar.
