For the last 36 years we have been selling exclusively Japanese Koi from some of Japan’s most reputable breeders, making us possibly the longest established Koi only dealer outside of Japan.
All Koi are quarantined for a minimum of 8 weeks following the Professional Koi Dealer’s Association protocol and we are independently certified as Bio-secure by Paula Reynolds BSc PhD BA.
Duty Of Care Leaflet
It is very important that anyone thinking about becoming a koi keeper or who is a newcomer to the hobby makes this fact known when visiting any Koi dealer. The Animal Welfare Act protects animals from those who may purchase them without realising they do not have the facilities to provide an appropriate environment or do not fully appreciate their daily needs. Every animal and fish species has different welfare requirements and a booklet at the point of sale is the only way that they can be protected.

The members of the PKDA send their condolences to Jimmy ‘s family and many friends .
Every Koi dealer and Koi-keeper who attended Koi shows knew the show could not start without Jimmy .
He was there to lend a hand to everyone and nothing was ever too much trouble for him .
He worried about everything when he was on the showground but the well-being of the Koi was his priority .
Koi shows will never be the same without Jimmy there and his devotion to Koi will never be forgotten
New Honorary Life Member
At a recent meeting of the PKDA Vic Reynolds the Association’s Treasurer was made an Honorary Life Member in recognition of his involvement with the formation of the PKDA and his ongoing commitment to its many aims. Vic is in good company as the PKDA is linked with the Shinkokai, the Japanese trade association and their Chairman is an Honorary Life member. Shunishi Yoshida also holds Honorary Life membership to thank him for the support he has given to the PKDA.
